Station Summary:

Party 934 and 94.9 FM, Hudson Valley New York is a radio station that allows for a diverse group of on-air personalities to produce their own live radio programs remotely. Our station streams its content via the Internet and our FM transmitter in New York, maintained by an affiliate, simulcasts the Internet stream 24/7/365. We are a freeform station, having shows that highlight everything from hip hop to rock to country western. Party 934 allows their personalities to have a personality.

Position Summary:

The Development Director will be responsible for developing and implementing the development strategy for Party 934/94.9 FM. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Director will be responsible for creating and directing fundraising campaigns. The Development Director will also be engaging sponsors/underwriters in ongoing service activities. This includes leveraging key relationships and contacts.

Responsibilities:

1) Create and implement annual development plan and strategy;
2) Train and lead other staff to support fundraising and marketing efforts;
3) Write grant proposals and reports to corporate, foundation, and government funders; and
4) Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and public relations strategy, in cooperation with the Promotions Director.

Requirements:

1) Proven management and leadership capabilities;
2) Demonstrated ability to think strategically and thorough understanding of strategic development;
2) Strong partnership-building and event planning skills;
3) Thorough understanding of all components of a diversified funding base;
4) At least 2 years experience in direct sales or business development experience, preferably with a non-profit.

On-Air Personality

Position Summary:

Party 934/94.9 FM, Hudson Valley New York is looking for a unique, progressive-thinking individual to remotely-produce a radio program (minimum one hour per week) in which their musical experiences are challenged. No experience is required as training is provided. This position is remote in nature and a presence in our office is not required.

Responsibilities:

1) Programming and presentation of an exciting, entertaining, and informative radio program;
2) Ensuring promotions and contests are executed and promoted property;
3) Some audio production work relevant to the personality's show and the station.

Fill-in On Air Personality

No experience is required as training is provided. This position is remote in nature and a presence in our office is not required.

2) Ensuring promotions and contests are executed and promoted property;
