Party 934 is a new type of radio station. We are the a truly multigenre station, which means we do not have a set "format." Our "Party Mixologists" have their own shows throughout the day and they get to play or talk about virtually any thing. We stream on www.party934.com.


How we are different
We have Party Mixologists playing pretty much every genre you can think of -- from techno, house, dance, hip hop, R&B, rap, gospel, indie, alternative, jazz funk, Americana, Britpop, punk, and more!

In terms of our on-air personalities, we truly have a diverse team. We have taken radio personalities who have never been on the radio before and have trained them and given them the chance they were looking for to enhance their experience and to help them accomplish their life-long dream. Also, we have taken in numerous people who are experienced in the entertainment world - we have had people who have been booking agents, band/group managers, radio station managers, former Sirius-XM radio employees, former Clear Channel employees, former ESPN Radio employees, college radio DJs, mixtape DJs, club DJs, visual artists, bloggers, marketing & advertising professsionals, graphic designers, web programming developers, and much more. We pride ourselves in providing a unique avenue for our on-air personalities to express themselves through their unique background.

So, as you can see, Party 934 is extremely diverse -- from professional deejays, to terrestrial radio personalities, to students, and finally to those just looking to do something constructive with their time!


The term "Party Mixologist"
We feel like the term "DJ" (or "deejay") is getting overused. Just like most songs that play on commercial radio, it gets old after a while. However, Party 934 on-air personalities (also referred to as "Party Mixologists") are not just any old DJ - they are professionally trained and part of a unique radio station and following. We take pride in our Party Mixologists because they produce awesome shows - and not many radio stations can say that about their on-air personalities!


Our views on the top 40
You'll never catch a Party Mixologist on Party 934 playing anything from the top 40. Party 934 feels that most artists who are on the top 40 do not need any more marketing for their music - which is not even that great to begin with. Party 934 wants to be different - we will never play anything from the Jonas Brothers, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Linkin Park, or Miley Cyrus. These artists are already extremely popular (for whatever reason) and do not produce good music for the community. We feel that independent and semi-mainstream artists deserve more attention and promotional consideration for their hard work and efforts. Some musical artists on the top 40 don't even write their own music or lyrics! We feel that promoting local, unsigned, and independent bands will help them in their musical ventures, because they deserve it for their hard work! Best of all, unlike a lot of the "big" commerical radio stations, we don't charge anything for airplay or interviews.


Airplay & Submission Policy
We accept unsolicited submissions for airplay consideration on Party 934. Please keep in mind that we do not charge any sort of fees, nor do we ask for any gifts in exchange for airplay. We do ask that you do help promote the station and its movement, though: kind of like, we'll help you and you help us!

Since Party 934 is a multigenre station, we are able to handle submissions in just about every genre. While we prefer songs be in English, we have quite a following in Italy and Germany, so any content in Italian or German will be acceptable. Please note however that most of our Party Mixologists are located in North America and most likely will not play content that is not in English.

Party 934 only accepts submissions via post/mail. We do not accept MP3/digital submissions. When mailing your submission to Party 934, you must keep in mind your presentation. Frequently, we discard submissions that are shoved in to an evelope and mailed to the station. So, be patient and have some pride in your work - afterall, you did spend dozens of hours in the studio and probably thousands of dollars!

Requirements for submission: (if one of these items are missing in your airplay submission package, it will be discarded)
1) Press/media kit (or a one-page);
2) Audio disc containing the music you'd like airplay for; (we really like to see professionally-pressed albums, singles, etc)
3) A tracklist that outlines exactly what is on the audio disc;
4) A clear notice informing us which publishing company the group / band / artist is with; (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC)
5) Full contact details for the press contact / manager / booking agent / PR representative;

(Keep in mind that under no circumstances will airplay submissions be returned. We offer no promises in regards to actually airing your submission, although as we do have many, many Party Mixologists, you have a better chance getting airplay here than at the "big" commercial radio stations. If you send your airplay submission package via registered mail or any mail type that requires a signature, it will be rejected. If you would like to be notified when your airplay submission package reaches our offices, simply use delivery confirmation.)
